Addison Anne Crockett

Addison is finally here and I'm so excited!!! My sister-in-law, Annie, had her little baby girl on the 16th. She weighed 7lbs 2 oz and 20 1/4 inches long. She is absolutely gorgeous and I can't get enough of her. I'm so excited to have babies so close together in age. Tessa and Addison are going to have so much fun together growing up. Congratulations Annie and Brando!!! I must say though, seeing a newborn makes Tessa seem so old and big! It's sad and exciting all at the same time.
I have so much to post about I'm just really behind. I'll try to get things up as soon as possible but I just had to get this excited news out!

Isn't she just so beautiful!

2 Month Checkup

Tessa had her 2 month checkup last week! I can't believe she's already 2 months old. She did very good and is so far pretty healthy. She is now 22 1/4 inches long and is in the 45th percentile for height. She also weighs 8 lbs 13 oz making her in the 10th percentile for weight! Who would have guessed that Nate and I would have a baby that's average height! I think she's a good eater but I we might have to try to fatten her up a bit. It was so sad to watch her get her shots, but she was very brave and recovered quickly. She may have silent reflux though, but hopefully we will get it under control with some medicine before it gets too bad. She is more and more fun each day. She loves to smile and move like crazy now. I just love her!

Here are a couple of fun pictures Bobbie took for some new ideas in her studio...

October Update

The annual Halloween Party was this last Saturday! Costumes were great as usual and we had a blast. We had a hypnotist come this year, it was hilarious. Thanks everyone for coming!

Tessa made a very cute little tiger!

The cute little ones together.
Graham the caterpillar, Tessa the tiger, and Tayci the lady bug!

This is one of Tessa's boyfriends, Graham Liddell! She's just 3 days older than him. They were tired after a long night of fun. Don't they make a cute couple?

Four of our friends have October birthdays so we had a birthday party for all of us! It was a fun little celebration. Thanks Sar for hosting it and "Happy Birthday" to Lindsay, Brooke, and Kristin!

Tessa's newest little boyfriend Levi Box! Tessa is 3 1/2 weeks older than Levi but not that much bigger!

Tessa did her best to help support the Red Sox but it just was not enough this year! She and Dad looked cute together though!

Tessa finally got to meet her Grandpa Olson! It was so nice having him visit. We already miss him and can't wait to see him again!

Family photo shoot

Here are some of the pictures that my talented mother-in-law took of our little family! Tessa is still doing great and growing big and strong. Sadly though she's losing the hair on top of her head. Oh well, I think she still makes a cute bald baby!

Tessa's First Photo Shoot

I really am so lucky to have a mother-in-law who is a photographer! We had some spare time so we decided to do a quick photo shoot. I thought these pictures turned out really cute so I had to post them! I'm sure I'll have a million more to come!

We're home!

First of all I'd like to say thanks to all of you fellow bloggers who left very nice messages. And thanks to all of you who visited us at the hospital. It's nice to hear from everyone and have so much support. We came home from the hospital on Tuesday and have been loving every minute. It's so nice to have her here with us and finally getting settled with some what of a routine.
So for those of you who are curious here's how my labor went. Last Saturday, right after I made the post about being induced on Tuesday, I went with Bobbie on a long walk. We got done about 7:00 pm and headed to dinner. As soon as we were done walking I noticed my contractions being a lot more consistent and stronger so we started to time them. Throughout all of dinner they were every 5 min lasting close to 1 min this was from 7:00 to 9:00. My doctor told me to come in when they're this close but of course I didn't want to get sent home so I just went home instead of to the hospital. Nate and I waited a few more hours just hanging out at home. Finally around 12:30 am they were close to 3 min apart so I decided to go in. We stopped by Maverick for an energy drink for Nate and some yummy frozen yogurt for me. Once we got to the hospital they checked me and said I was dilated to a good 5 cm and I was there to stay. A few more hours went by and before I knew it Tessa was born at 7:02! It was the most amazing experience of my life. It was so special I'll never forget it. Everything went so smoothly and perfect, I was very lucky. Tessa is doing just great. She's already gained 6 ounces and is just the sweetest little thing ever. We love her so much and enjoying every minute with her. Here's a bunch of pictures of her at the hospital for you to enjoy.

Update...

Baby Update!
Well, most of you probably already know the status of Tessa but for those of you who don't I'll fill you in. I was happy not to have her early but now it's starting to wear on me. I'm just ready for her to be here. I'm still at 0 dilation but I've been told that doesn't mean much. I'm going to the doctor Monday morning and if I'm still 0 then they're giving me a pill Monday night and inducing me. If I'm dilated at all then I'll go in Tuesday morning and they'll induce me then. So either way hopefully she'll be here by Tuesday night! I'm really excited but I'm still crossing my fingers that she'll come on her own before then. I have been having a lot stronger contractions since yesterday but it probably doesn't mean anything. I just hope she's ready to come Tuesday cause I'm sure ready for her! She'll be coming whether she likes it or not I guess. Going overdue is not fun. Next time I'm going to tell myself the due date is one week later than it really is. I'm feeling good though and hanging in there. I had my last day of work yesterday which was exciting. I'll make sure to post asap as soon as Tessa gets here! Stay tuned...

Priscila and Chad's wedding!
Yahoo, I made it to Priscila's wedding on the 29th 9 months pregnant and all! It was so beautiful and so much fun! I'm so happy for both of them. They're such a great couple and such great friends. The night was perfect in every way. I even somehow managed to get down on the dance floor, I mean way down! Unfortunately I was sore the next day though.
Here are some pictures from the big day! Congrats Chad and Pris!

Luckily we were able to go to some fun ball games before the baby gets here. A few weekends ago we went with Chad and Priscila to a Bees game which was really fun. Then last weekend we kicked off BYU's season at home. For Christmas I got Nate season tickets to the BYU games, but with the baby on the way I'll probably only make it to a few with him unfortunately. I was hoping hiking up to the top of the bleachers would put me in labor, but no luck of course. I had never been to the BYU stadium before, it was so pretty! Nate and I had a blast together, I can't wait to make it a family activity some day! I must admit I probably watched the cheerleaders more than the game though!

Daybreak Shower!

Last Wednesday Tibett hosted a neighborhood baby shower for me and it was so much fun! I can't thank you enough Tibett and everyone that helped out! It has been so fun meeting so many cute new girls out in Daybreak. I'm very lucky to have them all around to entertain me when I'm not working anymore!!! (only a couple weeks left, and I can't wait!) Thanks for all the cute gifts and good advice.

Baby Showers!

I had two amazing showers recently. A friends shower on August 2nd and a family/family friends shower on August 4th. Both of them were so much fun! I got tons good stuff that I really needed. I definitely feel more ready now thanks to everyone. It was so fun to see so many people that I love. My mom, grandparents, and aunt even all flew in for the weekend of showers. It meant so much to me to have them there. I just want to say a HUGE thanks to everyone who helped host the showers and to everyone for attending. I really appreciate everyone's love and support. Tessa is a very lucky little girl to have so many good people love her already!

Priscila's Wedding Shower

A few weeks ago we threw a shower for one of my best friends Priscila. It was so much fun to see everyone and catch up. It got us all really excited for the upcoming big day! August 29th is going to be here before we know it and I better be in attendance. I'm sure I'll be there looking beautifully big! I can't wait for the wedding it's going to be so much fun! It also so happens to be Priscila's Birthday today and was Danielle's on Wednesday! So Happy Birthday to both of you! I love you guys so much and am so grateful for your friendship!!!

The 4th of July

We went with Nate's family up to Trapper's Ridge for a fun filled weekend. The whole weekend was a blast. We relaxed, went boating, and enjoyed some small town activities. On the 4th we went to a big yummy breakfast where we watched little kids try to ride sheep, catch greasy pigs, and the girls got to ride a pony. It was very entertaining! Later that night we had our own BBQ and firework show.
