The much anticipated May and June update...

So I know I've been completely out of the blogging loop for a very long time, but I'm going to try to do some catching up. This may be boring but this is what our crazy months of May and June consisted of. I'll try to keep it short and sweet but I feel like there's a lot to cover!

May 6-12
We took a trip to Florida with Nate's family for The Player's Championship at Sawgrass (a golf tournament). It was such a blast! It was nice to finally get in some warm weather even though it was a little too humid for me when we were walking around the tournament. We went to the golf tournament everyday and the beach. Nate had his birthday while we were there on the 11th, he was able to celebrate it just the way he wanted to watching a golf tournament. He even got Anthony Kim to sign a ball for him, he was very excited! It was a very relaxing trip overall besides my poor nieces getting sick! I was sad to leave but had other things to attend just around the corner.

May 13-17
Unfortunately while we were in Florida I received a phone call from my dad that my grandpa had passed away. So we got home from Florida late Monday night and were back to the airport on Tuesday night on our way to Nebraska. It obviously wasn't the ideal reason for taking a trip to my dad's but it was still nice to see my family. The funeral was very nice and I actually learned some things about him that I didn't know before. We had a day of sports with my family of course. Two on two basketball, around the world, chipping contest, and last but not least a major bean bag toss competition. Here's some picture from our trip.

May 23-26
The following weekend was Memorial Day weekend which we all know wasn't the greatest weather. We went to Trapper's Ridge in Eden where his parents second home is and hung out. The weather permitted us from doing too much, but it was nice just to relax.

May 29- June 3
My dad and family from Nebraska came out to visit us for the weekend. The boys did a lot of golfing of course and us girls did some shopping. I got some things for the nursery finally done too. We all went to Snowbird and stayed over night one night which was fun. It was weird laying out at snowbird watching skiers come down the mountain! It was so hot though, I couldn't imagine skiing.

June 6-7
June 7th was our 3 year anniversary! We went to dinner at the Bombay house on the 6th to celebrate and stayed that night at Snowbird. It actually reminded me a lot of the night we got married, it was snowing in the mountains! We woke up on the 7th to fresh snow fall just like we did 3 years ago. It seems so crazy that it snows in June! We ran around looking at baby stuff and went to the driving range during the day. That night we went to Matt Nilson's wedding. What a perfect way to spend an anniversary, at a wedding! We had a great anniversary together. I can't believe it's been 3 years but at the same time it seems like we've been married forever! I'm very lucky to have such an amazing husband and marriage. I love Nate so much and can't wait for us to have a little one around.

June 13-15
Off to St.George to visit my grandparents who were visiting my mom! It was so hot!!! Luckily I was able to lay in the pool to keep cool. My grandparents got a kick out of my pregnant belly and especially feeling the baby kick. They were so funny about it. It was a short but sweet trip. I always love seeing my mom and grandparents.

(This was taken in January if you're wondering where my belly is)

June 25-29
Nate's aunt and uncle from Florida came into town so the whole Whitney family headed up to Trapper's Ridge again. We had a lot of fun boating and going to the pool. We took the gondola at Snowbasin up to the top of the mountain and had lunch at a beautiful lodge. The view was gorgeous! I love spending time with my cute nieces! We also found out that my sister-in-law Annie is having a girl as well! I'm so excited to have baby girls together, congrats again Annie!

So that's why I haven't blogged lately... I've been super busy! It's been a fun couple of months but crazy! That should fill anyone (who cares) in on what we've been up to. I'll post some prego pictures soon but everything is going great with the pregnancy. I can't believe I only have 10 weeks left. I'm getting so excited!

I am friends with Abby Pohlman. I was at Eden that weekend in May you stop by for a min. (with all Abby's friends). She mentioned that you might want to by our 4 runner. If you are still looking let me know. We are trying to get rid of ours...for a bigger car and it is priced below low book. I know this is random but thought I would let you know.
